A fine and scarce example, used as intended, although a non-compliant colour. UPU dictated the a red imprint. POST OFFICE DOMINICA JU 1 06” alongside a framed oval “R”, and registration information box in red numbered “422” sent unpaid to Vienna, Austria and intercepted in London with manuscript “absence of stamps noted & reported in London”. Reverse, transit hooded circle “REGISTERED LONDON 18 JU 06”. Vertical filing fold to left of heading. Fine. Scarce example of Official mail intercepted and reported. Note: While the OHMS free frank was valid within the Empire, it was not valid in the UPU to destinations outside the Empire. "carminio vivo" from plate II in a mixed franking with Province Napoletane 1861 2 gr. azzuro, two fresh and fine adhesives, large to huge margined, tied by light "GALLIPOLI 1 LUG. 1861" cds in black with a crisp information strike alongside, on large part cover to Napoli. Reverse with arrival cds (July 4) in red. Part of backflaps missing, nevertheless a late usage of the Bourbon stamps, an extremely rare combination of utmost attractiveness, for a most advanced collection of Napoli or the early Kingdom. Vorausbezahlt bis zur Schweizer Ausgangsgrenze und bei Ankunft mit den vorders. in brauner Tinte ausgewiesenen "24" Grana laut Postvertrag von 1819 austaxiert, wobei die Anteile von 20 Centesimi für Lombardei-Venetien und 5 Grana für den Kirchenstaat wie üblich nicht auf dem Brief vermerkt wurden.
