"Schönenwerth" (Wi. 3655/7) nach Meersburg (D) am Bodensee, Portobrief aus ders. Korrespondenz aufgegeben in Aarau, befördert über Zürich und im Transit mit ovalem Auslagestempel "AUSLAGE / VON ZÜRICH" und handschr. Auslagenotiz "8" Kreuzer versehen, Portobrief nach Roveredo mit Zierkreisstp. "SCHÖNENWERTH 18 AOUT 1836" in seltenem rot (Wi. 3656/10) und eingehende Post aus Deutschland, Frankreich oder Italien. 1479 image1850/1950ca.: Accumulation of mostly better stamps in 3 stockbooks, comprising numerous singles and sets. The holding has been partially damaged by water. Some stamps remain fine, including Sweden first issue 6 Sk. and 8 Sk. (Mi 3, 4), New South Wales ‘One Penny’ and ‘Two Penny’ (Mi 1, 2), and from New Zealand the ‘One Penny orange’ and ‘Six Pence brown’, both with star watermark. Others show hinge traces and only slightly affected gum, such as the Belgium Orval I and Cardinal Mercier sets. A number of stamps are stuck together or adhered to the stockbook pages, requiring soaking for recovery, including material from France, Monaco and the French Colonies. 1482 1940-1990ca. Varied accumulation of souvenir sheets and stamps from diverse countries. Includes a useful range of booklets from Great Britain, predominantly QEII, with approx. 30 copies of the 1980 'Book of Stamps and Story of Wedgwood'. Two official Korean presentation albums 1951/58 issued by the Ministry of Communications, each with a selection of unused stamps (70 from 1951–56, 63 from 1956–58) additionally includes used stamps with special cancellations: high catalogue value. Also present is a small selection of booklets from Belgium and Germany (Third Reich) some dating from the Second World War period. Further content comprises album pages from Spanish Morocco and Egypt, a PEXIP souvenir sheet from France, and two approval booklets featuring Old German States and early German Empire and Third Reich.
