2435 cover image1797/1854: Archive lot 36 stampless merchant letters with full content (mainly written in Catalan) from Urgell, Catalunia concerning the trade between and within Catalunia and Andorra, Spain, starting with 1797 letter addressed to Josep Cortadellas in Calaf, 1800 letter bearing 'No.3N / U PRINCIPADO / DE CATALVNA' handstamp, 1800 merchant's letter from ARFA, 'B.5' handstamp of 1803 letter to Barçelona, 'U.47.-CATALUNYA' h.s. on 1803 letter from Urgell to Barçelona, further a Cortadella correspondence from La Seo de Urgel together with other local correspondence from 'Dn Josep Cortadellas y Compania de Barçelona, some with transit markings as 'R 13' and postal markings as numeral '6' applied in Barçelona as well as further correspondence concerning the 'Jamon' trade from Andorra including a 1832 letter concerning the famous Feliu Comes TRAGINER.
