1004 * image1902 (Sept): Typeset 3 ch. dark green & yellow, with red control handstamp, imperforate, Type II (small Chahis), an unused example (position 10) with good margins all round, of deep colour, some gum loss at top, part og. An extremely rare stamp and much under-catalogued. Signed Sadri Scott = $ 2'000. Note: The rarity of this stamp, and its lack of use either on cover or on document suggests the 3 chahi could more properly be termed "prepared for use but unissued", however a few examples are known cancelled. The Type II stamps were issued in September 1902 and the new Enschede printed issue arrived in November 1902 and is known used in early December (Image 1) (Image 2) (Image 3)

1018 * image1902 (Sept): Prepared for use but Unissued: Typeset 5 krans deep yellow & yellow, with red control handstamp, imperforate, Type II (small Krans), an unused example (position 5), with large margins all round, fresh and fine, large part og. Just 8 examples of this stamp have been recorded. Signed Sadri Scott = unlisted. Note: A handful of 5 krans, Type II sheets with the rosette were prepared, but like the Type I of this value, it remained unissued probably due to it's similarity to the 10 chahis value but also because there was a greater shortage and need for low face value adhesives (Image 1) (Image 2)

Not bogus as Scott mentions, as the overprint is identical to the issued (Type I) adhesive. A rarity. Signed Sadri (Image 1) (Image 2)

1020 cover image1902 (Feb): '5 KRANS' surcharge in black on the Type I unissued 5 kr. yellow-ochre & blue, the used horizontal pair with large margins all round, negligible creasing in the margin from top of sheet and showing the sheet requisition number '71679' in black, used on 1902 Postal Packet Receipt form for letters to Yezd and neatly cancelled by "KERMAN" circular datestamp in black (Nov 2), the reverse bearing a vertical strip of five registration labels used as 1 chahi postage stamps, these too being cancelled by the Kerman datestamps. A great rarity and an important Exhibition item. Note: Due to the shortage of low face value stamps Post Office employees frequently 'bundled up' envelopes to the same destination and placed a high value on the entire packet instead. Less than 20 of these packet receipts have been recorded, just three of which utilise the Typeset issues (Image 1) (Image 2)
