25 cover image1890/1980: Accumulation of unused stationery from Nigeria, featuring items from Lagos, the Oil Rivers, and the Niger Protectorate, extending to the Colony and the independent Republic of Nigeria. This collection includes a substantial number of aerograms from the modern period, all organized in a stock book containing approximately 250 items. Within the same stock book, there is a similar accumulation from Cameroon, with German Kamerun, CEF overprints, modern aerograms, and a few items from the French Occupation, including some surcharged items totaling 120 pieces. 33 cover image1953: Ife Bronze 6 d. aerogramme with indicium outline perforations, overprinted 'SPECIMEN' in red to address lines and the indicium with perforated 'SPECIMEN' in a horseshoe. Numbered by a black handstamp "127" on the reverse of the unfolded sheet in upper right corner. Very fine and scarce. Comes with 1956 Ife Bronze 6 d. areogramme, also overprinted 'SPECIMEN' in red and the same horseshoe perforated 'SPECIMEN' to indicium. Handstamped number "213" to the upper left at front. Some duplication with many scarcer and better values. Noted; 3 s. deep green first printing issued at Surulere 7 July 1966; 20 s. green & purple brown from the amended printing issued at Ebute Metta 31 May 1969; ₦10.00 red postal order type 2B perforated 'SPECIMEN' and without serial number; 50 k. green with 3 k. poundage first amendment to 25 k. and later 35 k. by violet handstamps; and amongst many others a ₦1 third issue with Lagos 22 August 1994 cds. Condition is mainly fine. A rare assembly. 38 cover image1961: Collection of Nigerian postal stationery post-independence, beginning with REGISTERED LETTERS, which includes uprated, airmail, and specimen items, made up across more than 50 pages. Often, additional items are placed on the backs of the sheets. The collection also features Aerograms on about 20 pages. Additionally, from the Gold Coast, there are three QEII 6d aerograms: one with an adhering stamp and the other two with the stamp imprint directly applied. All three are marked with a red 'SPECIMEN' overprint and the stamp is perforated with 'SPECIMEN' in a horseshoe layout.
