1 cover image1892: Postal Stationery Card, 1½ d. red-brown, surcharged by manuscript red ink to reduce to 1 d. by deleting "HALFPENNY", used from Lagos to Worms, Germany, dated 16 December 1892, cancelled by barred dumb cancel in black, with a "LAGOS / W. AFRICA" cds in the same colour alongside and a "WORMS" arrival cds dated 19 January 1893. To the reverse an extensive message. The Worms cds has penetrated a small semi arc on impact which is not obvious and does not detract. A scarce usage (H&G 4).
