698 cover/bof image1840: 2 d. blue, plate 2, block of six, lettered JJ-KL, mostly good to large margins including portion of two adjoining stamps at foot, tied to folded cover to Oswestry by black Maltese Cross, reverse with undated circular double-arc "Bishop Auckland" postmark and Rushyford double-arc c.d.s. (13 April), the block with deep colour, some small imperfections and crossed twice by horizontal filing folds, the cover with some repairs, yet a remarkable and rare usage, paying the 1/- rare for up to six ounces Gi.
