Rohilla via Brindisi", tied by "1" obliterators and by framed "R" in violet and "REGISTERED / MELBOURNE" datestamp (Oct 11). Reverse with Vienna arrival (Nov 24). Carried by "Rohilla" to Colombo, "Siam" to Suez where disinfected with central chicel slit against the Cholera Outbreak and thence on the "Poonah" to Brindisi (Nov 21). 10401 imageBooklet 1904/09: £1 Booklet (158 x 167 mm.) with blue on pale pink cover and illustration of General Post Office Sydney on reverse, containing two sheets of 120 Victoria 1 d. bright rose, wmk. Crown over A, Die III, folded into quarters and affixed by two staples to the back cover of the booklet with pale green inside showing columns to account for use of the adhesives, with both "CA" and "JBC" marginal monograms showing twice. A worldwide Booklet rarity, very minor splitting and negligible soiling but intact and extraordinarily rare, noted as unique in Brusden White.
