used on 1857 entire letter from Tula to San Luis Potosi tied by framed "TULA DE / TAMAULIPAS" handstamp in red (Schatzkes fig. 1839) with manuscript date at left "Julio 9" and, unusually "11" written in top margin of stamp, probably the actual day of
