1455 image1898/1980: Accumulation of over fifty letters, postcards and photographs with a range of rare and unusual items of Chinese postal history. Notable items include a mixed franking between French and Chinese stamps on a postcard to France, a 1921 registered letter from WOOSUNG to Switzerland franked with twelve Junk type stamps, attractively arranged in star formation. Further items include material from foreign postal administrations, like French, German and US and an Airmail letter to France franked with 1929 "Curtiss Jenny" high values. 1457 image1903/1944: Batch of twenty letters and postcards relating to China, containing a number of interesting routings and originations. There are a 1912 letter to France routed via HAIPHONG Indochina, a postcard from the Austrian Marinedetachement in Peking, a letter franked German Office stamps and posted aboard a German steamer, two postcards to Belgium from Hankow, Japanese PO and a letter from DAIREN to Vienna among others.
