Lot includes cancellations at Porletta, Asso, Iseo from July 1859, the first month of the usage of Sardinian adhesives, Bellagio, Milano on cover with three examples of the 20 c. overpaying the rate to France by 10 c., Como, Lecco, as well as Dongo twice, one with a stamp with double imprint of the King's Effigie. In addition, three items from Sardinia to Veneto, with the 20 centesimi franking paying just the inland rate to the border, taxed on the Austrian side with '5' or '15'. 1049 image1917/1919: Serbian Exile Government on CORFU, highly interesting group of four letters franked with French stamps, cancelled "TRESOR ET POSTES" or with Serbian cachets, from the same correspondence to Switzerland, including three registered letters and one official with various Censor markings. Two of the senders give insight into the postal system with Field Post numbers attached to their address. Another is to be passed on to a presumably Serbian citizen in Switzerland.
