Reverse with Messina transit (Jan 2, 63) and "ALEXANDRIE EGYPTE" arrival (Jan 15, 63) cds of the French office. Lightest filing fold not distracting at all from the attractiveness of this extremely rare franking to pay the 80 centesimi single rate with a French vessel via Palermo and Messina to the Levant, valid from 1861 to 1866.
