Reverse with Athens transit cds. Filing folds well away from the franking, nevertheless an extremely rare usage, following the certificate presumably of unique nature. Certificate and accompanying letter Tseriotis (2003) Hellas 16a.rnNote: Following the postal treaty between France and Greece from 1844, still valid in 1865, printed matter from Greece to France should have been franked with the inland printed matter rate of four lepta, while not postage had to be paid for the Shipmail and French part of the journey. A scarce entire. Ex collection Keith Tranmer.rnNote: Kossuth's Hungarian Republic proclamation was made on 14 April 1849.
