6474 image1869 (Aug 18): Return receipt for a registered letter from Palazzolo to Martinengo, bearing 1867 (April) London DLR printing 20 c. sky-blue 'celeste chiaro', tied by two crossed perfect strikes of PALAZZOLO straight-line handstamp in black, framed RACCOMANDATO alongside. The receipt was signed by the receiver, postmarked with a MARTINENGO cds in black and returned to the post office of the sender. Reverse with "VERONA - MILANO" ambulant cds. An appealing and most interesting cover, cert. Bottacchi (2003).rnReference: Described as the first usage in Sassone Francobolli 2021 on page 492.
