See Guatemala II page 436-437 for further information - this being the unique used example - the other examples of this variety were spotted and snapped up by a collector and remained in unused condition. The cover surrounded by "#" to denote registration with fine manuscript documentation on front "Porte hecha la rebala...181, Droi del Certificado...8, and Total = 189" reales charge. Reverse with docketing of receipt. Faults from acid ink but very rare. (Image 1)

Manuscript at lower left "Sale de esta en 29 de Agosto de 1856" and reverse with "Porte 9, Droi (registration) 6" and internally signed as received.
