 Steamers plied their trade on the Borgå-Helsingfors route from the early 1850's.

 Borgå Ånfartygs Aktiebolag, the company was formed in 1891, in order to provide a faster
service than the 'Runeberg' on the Borgå-Helsingfors route, eventually the two competing companies amalgamated in 1896, running the service until 1941. The names of their three ships appearing on the stamps.rnrnCoastal Ships - Borgå Area - Borgå
