1864 Entire mourning letter from Buenos Aires to Habana on Cuba via London, dated inside "Buenos Aires Sep. 25 1864", carried to London were it was franked by 1862 1s. green, 1854 ff. 1d. red and a further adhesive which vanished meanwhile, all tied by London numeral "46" (Stepney), noted 'pr. "Etna" via U. States' on front, and on the reverse with boxed forwarder datestamp "KLOCKMANN & FESSER/(9) NOV. 1864" in blue, framed "LONDON/NO 9/64" in black and double-circle "HABANA/5 ..." arrival dater. Although one adhesive is missing, an important and scarce letter Argentina-England-USA-Cuba.
