15281 image1944. Only Copy outside the Imperial War Museum. V1 Flown "A Splendid Decision" Rocket Propaganda Leaflet.A V1-flown leaflet dropped in southeast England on 28 August 1944. There are only two known -- this one, and the one in the Imperial War museum -- an impossibly rare V1 leaflet used as the illustrative piece in Auckland's work 'V1 Rocket Propaganda Leaflets'. The photo on the back is of German air-raid victims from an unnamed town.

15282 image1944. V1 Rocket Flown Signal Magazine Nr 17. Called a Flugblatter / rocket leaflet, but it's actually a reduced version of the regular Signal magazine, distributed throughout the occupied German territories. This series is extremely rare, with only a handful known to exist. Some V1's carried, in additional to their explosive payload, a small canister of leaflets which were deployed around the site of impact -- this is one of the few survivors. This one starts on page 3 with the table of contents, and continues to page 38, missing pages 20-22 (as printed; they weren't included in the V1 version). Dropped on Manchester England, December 24, 1944.

Air Raid on Cologne June 28/29, 1943" and then an arrow points to the other side, which displays a stack of bodies, mostly children, gathered after the Cologne raid. Only a handful known. Worn and creased.

15284 image1944. The Other Side No 3. Rocket leaflet prepared by the Germans for the Allies, extolling their secret weapon, the V1 rocket. This series is quite rare, with only a handful known to exist in England. There is a great article on the V1 leaflets on the Psywar website. Some V1's carried, in additional to their explosive payload, a small canister of leaflets which were deployed around the site of impact -- this is one of the few survivors. It's a four page (single fold) newspaper giving the current 'news', with a German slant, of course. Showing deployment burns at top. Issue number three was deployed over the Netherlands.

Air Raid on Berlin November 22nd, 1943" and then an arrow points to the other side, which displays rows of dead civilians after the Berlin raid. 15290 image1945. V1-flown leaflet for Allied troops in the Netherlands. "'Know Ye by these Presents'" - site of the find: Netherlands - flown with V1 and dropped on the Americans in Holland in the aftermath of the Battle of the Bulge in Feb 1945. Leaflet printed on both sides; the English text invites General Dwight D. Eisenhower to come to Hungary with a self-chosen delegation and see the victims of the 'bestial' Bolsheviks [Russians] and witness the atrocities they committed. An identical leaflet, coded SKJ 2012 and in a different format, was shelled to American troops in Northwest Europe. Days after the V1 version was dropped it was reproduced on another leaflet with an additional text and a prominent "NO ANSWER"; this was disseminated by aircraft. On the back was the famous French WW-I cartoon "C'est sa main".' A rare V1 leaflet with provenance from the Joseph Nagl Jr collection cited in Auckland's work 'V1 Rocket Propaganda Leaflets'.
