Envelope sent prepaid to Hahmed Bey in Constantinople from the post office of the "CHAMBRE DES DÉPUTÉS" in Paris France on "26 SEPT. 1837" (red postmark for pre-paid letters). Very high franking of 9 French Francs handwritten on back with other digits underlined by the two red seals "P.P." and "P.D." rarely used together. All paid by the "AMBASSADE DE LA SUBLIME PORTE" that use red wax to seal envelope. Arrival postmark of Constantinople applied on the back four time on 16/10/1837. BEAUTIFUL COVER RARELY SEEN.
