A total of 378 Plated stamps, all except a handful are four margined with Maltese Cross cancels incl. 169 with distinctive crosses comprising Belfast (11), Brighton (5), Catterick (2), Cork (3), Coventry (3), Dublin (32), Dumfries (4), Edinburgh (46), Greenock (24), Kelso (3), Kilmarnock (3), Leeds (4), Limerick, Manchester (6), Norwich (9), Perth, Stirling (5), Welshpool, York (4). The distinctive crosses alone Cat. £46,000, in the writing up, each stamps Plate is identified along with the Spec catalogue number & any obvious characteristics of the Plate, odd multiples and also incl. two strips of four. Overall a very attractive collection perfect for further development. (Image)
