 1840-1901 comprehensive U collection neatly presented on leaves in a Utile album with four margin 1d black and 1840 2d blue (fine black MC), 1840 1d black Pl.2 and 1841 2d blue with MC, followed by a fine range of the
perforated Line Engraved issues incl. 1d SG.21/2, 26 & 36, 2d SG.20a and lovely examples of the difficult SG.27 & 36a. Thereafter, 1864 1d Pl.215 and 1870 ½d Pl.10 UM, with 1s, 10d & 6d Embossed (faults). The surface printed issues are generally well
above average for these issues and incl. good to fine examples of 1855 4d SG.62/3 and 1s SG.77, 1862 3d SG.77, 9d SG.87 and 1s SG.90, 1865 3d SG.92 and 9d SG.98a (thick paper). Also 1867 9d SG.110, 2s SG.119 (c.d.s), 1872 6d SG.122a and 125 (both
