937 image1889 (3 Nov) double rate Tamsen envelope from Embekelweni to Waterberg, bearing ½d black pairs (2) & 1d carmine pair, one 1d being R1/10 showing lower half of 'e' blocked, R2/10 showing bar of 'e' thinned, nearly resembling a 'c', each cancelled by 'EMBEKELWENI' oval rubber d/stamp with a further strike at left, the reverse with Steynsdorp (5.11) & Pretoria (8.11) d/stamps. A highly attractive franking and the earliest recorded Tamsen Swaziland cover. RPS Cert. 1993. (9.1) below the adhesives. A clean & most attractive franking. The earliest recorded overseas use from Swaziland.
