4 image THE GREGORY WALDECKER NATIONAL PARKS AND FARLEY AREA FDC COLLECTION, includes several hundred, perhaps (500), mostly different FDC's from the National Parks and Farley area, virtually all are housed in poly sleaves, sorted by issue and then denomination, there appears to be about 35 sets of various cachets of the 740-49 perforated set, we noticed some duplication (2) of some cachets but certainly a nice variety with some better included, retail values on these are generally in the $15-25 range with some up to $50 each, there is about ten sets of the imperfs issue with most being different, about 50 various #750 with singles, pairs, gutter pairs, and blocks, good variety of cachets with some duplication (2-3) of some, about 40 various #751 with singles, pairs, gutter pairs, and blocks, good variety of cachets with some duplication (2-3) of some, (10) different #751 S/S's on cacheted covers, (4) different #750 S/S's on cacheted covers, (13) various large sized covers with various issues with cachets, (4) large covers with complete sets three perf one imperf, a set of Farley gutter pairs on large sized cover, and (17) of #771 with mostly different cachets, the overall condition of this collection is really pretty clean but there are some faults to be expected, there are some hand painted covers included along with some of the better cachets mixed in, the catalog value listed is our estimate using Mellone but it is quite likely low given some of the better covers here, certainly the best Parks and Farley FDC collection we have offered in quite some time, well worth a good look and careful consideration but the specialist in this area (Image)

9 image U.S. COVER ACCUMULATION OF 8500, this lot is contained in 17 brown shoe box sized boxes at about 500 covers per box, each cover is in poly, about 75% of this lot is FDC's, about 15% is First Flights and the rest are stationary and some early covers in the "1930" box, the lot runs to about 2004, most of the FDC's are addressed but many are in pencil, virtually all the FDC's are cacheted except for a few of the early issues, there should be a good amount of total catalog value in the 400 or so pre 1940 covers which includes: Parks, Prexies and Famous Americans, we noticed some better cachets here and there, the overall condition is really quite clean with some minor faults to be expected, there are singles, pairs and many with blocks of four, appears to be very little duplication but some variety of cachets, lots of covers here and certainly many hours of fun going through this one, (ENV 750-1,000) (Image)
