Sehr schön und attraktiv. Die Verwendung der 500-Reis-Marke auf Inlandspost ist extrem selten, was auch das beiliegende Fotozertifikat von José Luis Fevereiro unterstreicht. Der Meyer-Katalog nennt einen Wert von 4000 USD für einen Inlandsbrief mit
dem 500r.-Wert! ÷ 1883, D. Pedro II, capa registrada doméstica com seguro (aberta em três lados), com 500 reis e 200 reis como franquia mista de MARIANNA para Caethe, Minas Gerais. Muito bonita e atraente. O uso do selo de 500 reis em correspondência
doméstica é extremamente raro, o que também é enfatizado pelo certificado de José Luis Fevereiro em anexo. O catálogo Meyer cita um valor de USD 4.000 para uma carta doméstica com o valor de 500r!
