1924 1925 (July 9) Large (34x22½cm) stampless registered cover to the Cape with two strikes of the special bilingual Royal Tour datestamp (used during the tour of the Prince of Wales to Southern Africa) and bearing the pink "R / S. RHODESIA" registration label with boxed "ROYAL TOUR" handstamp applied, Prince of Wales feathers printed on the flap and impressed in the wax seal, backstamped with the Royal Tour datestamp and at Bulawayo, Port Elizabeth and Uitenhage. Very few examples of the scarce Royal Tour registration label are recorded, this example numbered 15.
