Also 1873 Promissory Note with five 1/- revenues stamps signed by Sir John Frost (soldier, politician & settler leader). (8).

1905 Postal Stationery. 1898-1909 Picture postcards comprising QV 1d on 1½d card with coloured views of Cape Town, and a similar card used with an O.F.S 2½d stamp, both published by J.C Hubrich of Cape Town; QV 1d cards with pictures of Adderley Street (2, one not posted) or Zulu girls and views of the goldfields on the reverse, or Cape Town G.P.O on the address side; KEVII ½d cards with handpainted views (2) or a Photo applied to the reverse; and KEVII 1d cards with Buffalo Harbour, East London shown on the address side (2), all used, the Hubrich cards very scarce. 1910 Canadian Contingent. 1899-1900 Covers from Cape Town to Canada, one a printed "Soldiers of the Queen 1899-1900, Canadian Contingent, South Africa War" cover produced by Sam. J. Richey headed from Gr S.J Morrison, the second with a Maple Leaf and "Canadian Contingent 1899-1900" printed on the flap. The first cover with vertical folds and roughly opened at right, stamp over part of printed design; the second with a torn corner. (2).

1914 1929-44 Blocks of four comprising 1929 Air Post 1/- imperf marginal colour trial in red, printed on ungummed paper with wording from an obsolete landchart on reverse; and 1942-44 War Effort issue 1½d with adverts in upper margin misplaced downwards onto the upper stamps, 2d with misplaced horizontal perfs, and a blank rouletted and perforated block without any printing. 1924 1925 (July 9) Large (34x22½cm) stampless registered cover to the Cape with two strikes of the special bilingual Royal Tour datestamp (used during the tour of the Prince of Wales to Southern Africa) and bearing the pink "R / S. RHODESIA" registration label with boxed "ROYAL TOUR" handstamp applied, Prince of Wales feathers printed on the flap and impressed in the wax seal, backstamped with the Royal Tour datestamp and at Bulawayo, Port Elizabeth and Uitenhage. Very few examples of the scarce Royal Tour registration label are recorded, this example numbered 15.
