1776 1911 Archival page from the Madagascar Post Office Specimen stamp ledger bearing three examples of the unissued KEVII 1d red overprinted Specimen, each handstamped red circular "POSTES ET TELEGRAPHES / COLLECTION / DE / BERNE / MADAGASCAR", signed by the Post Office Director. A unique and exceptional page; the stamps were printed in an incorrect colour and destroyed, but specimens were sent to the U.P.U. S.G. 71s, £1,275+.
