1578 1945 15c Ultramarine with overprint in black, marginal pairs and blocks with additional "BMA / MALAYA" overprints in the margins, comprising mint pair with left margin (overprint offset on reverse), block of ten with left margin and lower margin block of six with control "1", used block of four with left margin, cover bearing lower marginal block of four with control "1". An unusual group, this variety probably the result of overprinting partial sheets. (5).

1582 1945 (Dec 20) Long cover with BMA 1c - $5 cancelled to order by "NEE SOON / SINGAPORE" datestamps, a fictitious pencil address added later. A scarce record of all stamps then on sale, just missing the 15c black overprint which had been replaced by the red overprint, and the $5 purple and orange which was presumably not yet on sale at Nee Soon.
