712 c.1949 Waterlow Sample Book, leather bound with "Waterlow & Sons Limited / Photogravure" in gold lettering on the green leather cover, 74 pages with various stamps of Haiti, Cuba, Colombia, Nicaragua, Belgium, Bolivia, Paraguay, Spanish Morocco, Liberia, Peru, Spain or Salvador, all in multiples, each stamp overprinted "WATERLOW & SONS LTD / SPECIMEN", three pages loose and a few others possibly removed, other pages unused. An inserted note states "The album contains all specimens of photogravure work of which we have examples". A rare sample book. (c.1100 sample stamps).
