351 World War One. 1914-19 Covers with a good range of F.P.O datestamps, all with enclosed letters from two Officers to their mother or wife at the same address in Hove, mainly from the Western front, a few posted in England or Salonica, the letters worthy of reading and research, all self censored with a couple of letters from early in the war in 1914 noted with very good content on the war (which would certainly have been censored if written by a private soldier), also a few earlier and later covers and letters. (c.350).

352 Russia/Malaya. 1919 (Jan 17) Forces Tobacco acknowledgement card to Kuala Kubu, Selangor, with "FIELD POST OFFICE / P.B.33" c.d.s used at Petchenga, reverse with "R.M.S / SELANGOR" c.d.s, message written in Russian from Pycuja. A very unusual origin and destination for one of these illustrated tobacco cards, issued by the Overseas Club Tobacco Fund.

353 World War Two/Air Mails. 1941 (June 11) Cover from an Officer at Canadian Military H.Q London to Shanghai, franked 2/6 pair cancelled by F.P.O 465 c.d.s, endorsed "Trans-Atlantic Air Service & China Clipper", arrival backstamp (July 21), censored. Fine and very unusual.

Huggins & Baker do not record any ½d Agricultural Return form prior to 1889, and then only in unused condition. Very rare.

374 image1841 (May 11) White Inland Department, G.P.O, lettersheet with partly printed address panel "REGISTERED LETTER / Postmaster of ....." and "Page (64) / No. (21) / G.P.O" used to forward an enclosed registered letter to the Postmaster of Marlborough, the letter addressed to William Shepherd in Great Bedwyn, the lettersheet signed inside by Shepherd with a London c.d.s and "BEDWIN" undated circle. Until c.1855 inland registered mail was forwarded to Postmasters enclosed within green lettersheets; this lettersheet printed on white paper would appear to predate these green lettersheets.
