301 1965 Commonwealth Arts Festival, two pieces of wove paper with black prints of the dancers used for the two issued stamps, one with an additional unadopted design, both signed in pencil by David Gentleman; and a print of the Queens head in silhouette form signed in ink by Gentleman. Also a large Photo of an unadopted 1963 Christmas design, and a pencil sketch of buildings and a double arch on tracing paper initialled "DG". An interesting group of items by David Gentleman. (5).

307 1969 Proposed History of the Royal Mail issue, preliminary designs in ink or colour (5) by Rosalind Dease with the artists notes on the designs, which depict an 18th Century postboy, 1856 pillar box, 1820 postman with bell, 1836 Travelling Post Office, 1836 mail coach or 1938 flying boat, also photographs and transparencies of the five final designs. This issue was finally abandoned and replaced by the Post Office Technology issue. (6+).

325 1922 (Sep 29) Post Office memo headed "Proposal for Postage Due label of the value of 1½d for foreign surcharges", with the decision "It has been decided to issue a postage due label of 1½d denomination, particulars will be issued shortly", a covering sheet showing when P.O Officials received this memo (first sent out in March 1922). Also 1922 (Jan 4) part Post Office Circular announcing a minimum charge of 1½d on underpaid mail from abroad.
