The Faroe Islands collection includes all important aspects of Faroe philately including early stampless mail, the 1919 Provisional bisects and surcharged stamps incl. a cover with the rare 4 øre wmk new crown bisect, the 1940-41 Provisionals stamps and covers incl. the rare 6 øre orange used as 5 øre in strip of four on cover, the same value used with others on the only recorded cover to a foreign destination, rare star cancels both off and on cover in exceptional quality. All major items accompanied by one or more certificates of authenticity.

Beautiful single stamps from Denmark and Iceland as well as a scarce 4 aur “I GILDI with inverted overprint used with other values on cover to Germany. The final 20 or so lots in the sale consist of British Colonies country collections/accumulations from an old-time collection anything from classics to QEII period.
