We have included a number of attractive classics, many signed or with certs, a nice run of the 1870 Bordeaux mint singles, also used with many very fine and extremely fine examples in a variety of shades, imperforate France modern issues, 1943-44 De Gaulle Liberty issues, a beautiful essay/proof collection mounted for exhibition offered intact, an attractive run of air post, pre-cancel and official issues de luxe proofs, scarce and rare postage dues as well as several attractive singles from the Sage issue. Monaco is highlighted by a beautiful mint single of the 1919 5fr+5fr Dull Red signed by Scheller.

Many of the better stamps in the sale have expert markings or old French dealer markings on the back. Any stamp signed by Pascal Scheller, Paris have been directly submitted by us. If the buyer wishes to obtain a certificate for any of these stamps, or any other stamp in the sale, we are able to obtain these at cost from Mr. Scheller.
