Mail Sale - December 6, 2017

Sam Houston Philatelics next auction will close on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 1:00 PM, CST. The sale contains over 750 lots, with material in all price ranges and something for everyone, collectors and dealers alike. A few of the highlights include the following:
  • UNITED STATES, There are over (290) lots with over 60 of Classics to Banknotes with some rare and scarce items such as a no's.1939, 71&2, a 77; and some gorgeous 1869 pictorials; about (20) Columbians including examples of the $1, $3 & $5; about (80) Washington/Franklin & Commemorative lots; over (30) 1920s Regular Issues, (6) Kansas/Nebr lots w/a complete NH set of both; and about (50) 1930 to current; many very nice items from which to choose.

  • COVERS, a nice selection of about (30) lots of Commercial, & FDC covers including a #37a on patriotic cover.

  • AIRMAIL & BACK OF BOOK ISSUES, contains about (100) lots of Airmails and other BOB lots, with an outstanding set of Graf Zeppelin issues and several special essay and proof lots..

  • ERRORS, FREAKS & ODDITIES, about (70) lots with interesting selections of color varieties and shifts, perforation faults and other types of EFO's and includes a no. 2276c Flag&Fireworks booklet error.
