POSTAL HISTORY: 1937 (Jan 16) Air France airmail to "Perth/Tasmania/Australia" with 10c, 15c, 50c & 1p Map x2, transit b/s of Paris '21.1/1937', 'PERTH/-3FE37/WA' & Melbourne '-6FE37' and 'LAUNCESTON/ -8FE37/TAS'. The rate was 15c letter rate plus double 1p30c per 5g 'all-the-way' airmail surcharge for carriage by Air France to Europe to join the Imperial Airways/QANTAS service IE516 arriving in Brisbane on 1.2.1937, then apparently missent to Perth WA before being re-routed via the Perth-Adelaide airmail service to destination.
