AFGHANISTAN LIFETIME COLLECTION, PART II "WORK IN PROGRESS", 1871/1964. an outstanding holding of unusual material with 1000s of stamps, including postal history, proofs, complete sheets, postmark studies, etc, from the 19th century onwards, contained in two bulging volumes. A few highlights are early large tigers including on cover, dozens of 1880s handstamped issues, 1891/92 1r gray blue unused part-sheet of 45, excellent mosque gates material including an unissued registration stamp, black on yellow instead of on green as mentioned in Gibbons, in block of 25 unused with informative Horst Dietrich opinion stating genuine and a precious rarity. DEALERS SELECTION OF MINI COLLECTIONS Group of three mini-collections from Laos, Macao and Thailand plus a mint sheet file of Viet Nam. The most valuable collection is from Laos which starts with two 1952 souvenir booklets followed by Scott# 25-26 & C13 (x2). The rest of this collection is composed of mostly special issues from the 1970s in limited edition S/Ss plus several Gold foil issues. Next is the Macao collection which starts with a stockpage of some classics. The following pages contain mostly sets and S/S from the 1990s including some duplicates up to about three or four each. The last of the mini-collections is from Thailand which is entirely mint and starts with a handful of sets from the late 1960s and early 1970s followed by several pages of souvenir sheets from the 1990s. Although there are a few scattered used stamps and a handfull of hinged items, the vast majority of these collections are Never Hinged. Lastly, is the mint sheet file of Viet Nam which contains only two items: both are postage due sheets. First is a set of sheets of 50 of #J1-6 and the other is sheets of 100 of J21-24.
