WORLDWIDE TREASURE CHEST. over 150 stock cards with a very wide range of material from classics to modern with a 'must sell' instruction; for that, we have put on a valuation of about $50 across the board. Clearly an opportunity for a dealer, either for Ebay or a small auction house to break down for many photograph lots. Don't forget that this must be sold and the start price reflects that. Good luck.

AWESOME WORLDWIDE COLLECTION One bulging old style Scott International Junior album just bursting with many thousands of mostly mint stamps. As usual in this style of collection, the album did not provide spaces for the top values of long definitive sets, therefore, the sets from the British Commonwealth are short sets to the 1/ value. Similarly, the French Colonies are often lacking the high values for the same reason. Still, nonetheless, there are valuable sets to be found from one end of the collection to the other. For example, from China we found Scott# 10 (no gum), used #11, and then mint 70, 157 and used 238. Turning to Sinkiang, we discovered mint #70-73. Thus, the small China section is probably the most valuable country in the entire album. In addition to the British Colonies, there are strong sections of French Colonies, some Portuguese and a smattering of Spanish Colonies with a tiny sample of German colonies. In alphabetical order (as listed by the album), the key items that we found were Korea #34, Cuba #221-26, Cyrenaica C6-11, Denmark #210-19, Falklands #15 and 177-80, France #294 and 315-20, Hong Kong #147-50, India #71, Italy #C23-26 and C35-39, Japan #85-86, Kionga complete mint, Macao #C1-6, Mongolia #62-74, New Zealand #165-70 and C1-3, Norway #B1-3, Portugal #422-36, 437-52 and 579-86, and Tannu Tuva #15-28 and 29-34. We should also point out that nearly all the Silver Jubilee sets from 1935 are present along with the 1937 French International Exhibition and Marie Curie sets. In addition, we found strong mint representations from Germany, (especially Third Reich), India, Italy, Japan (especially 1930s Parks sets), and a nice showing of Malaya. Altogether, this is truly one of the best collections of this type that we have seen in a long time!

The library consists of about ten volumes of the United States Specialist plus Carroll Chase "The 3c Stamp the US 1851-57" 1942 edition and two volume Johl 1937 edition (signed). HIGH CATALOG VALUE 19TH & EARLY 20TH CENTURY ACCUMULATION Two large stockbooks holding perhaps 100 black plastic stockpages, each page just jam-packed with hundreds of stamps. The majority are used with a moderate proportion of mint stamps. Although there are some recent stamps and even some never hinged singles and sets, nearly all the value is concentrated in 19th and early 20th century used stamps, sometimes in quantity. For example, we found one page that holds Belgium #10 (x50) used and there are similar groups from Great Britain that display late Victoria and King Edward VII issues in similar quantities. The owner has carefully arranged all these stamps on the stock pages and meticulously cataloged every stamp by keeping a tally sheet listing the country name, catalog number and value of each stamp on a facing page. Each book is divided into two sections with an index page listing the value of the pages in that section for a total of four sections. Since these are primarily 19th and early 20th century stamps, condition is mixed and the owner has made some errors in identification. Owner's catalog value $84,000.

WORLDWIDE DESK CLEARANCE LOT Everything from the top of a collector's desk that got swept into a box to make space to work on new material. Upon opening this box, we discovered a big pile of France #15 on cover, all neatly and carefully inserted into plastic sleeves. The pile of over 50 covers spilled out of the box and onto the desk. Further examination revealed an additonal twenty or so, more of these covers that are just loose in the box, unsleeved. Digging deeper, we found a small group of recent France mint sets and singles in glassines. Next is a pile of Liberia #C117 in sheets and singles. Near the bottom of the box, we discovered an emphera sheet of ten late19th century "Mail Boys" in various costumes. Spend some time to view this material to see what you can discover.
