British WWI military mail in Palestine/Military TPOs: 8 JU 1918 pre-printed 2d KGV registered envelope ex APO SZ 7 (JAFFA per Firebrace, EL ARISH per Proud) to 'American Colony Stores' JERUSALEM, tied by 2 strikes of APO SZ 7 postmark (Proud D3 - here a month passed his latest known date of use); officer endorsed & unit-censored by 4356 + Palestine Censorship No. 2; backstamped (& partial front-stamp) 9 JU 1918 transit by extremely rare [LUDD-DAMASCUS] LAD TPO skeleton postmark (FB-EFT2 but not identical at base; Proud-D1 but not identical; documented in Sacher as Type-2 @ 30mm, predating him by 8 months - says 8 items noted) + same day transit APO SZ 49 (LUDD) Proud-D1 postmark & next day APO SZ 44 (JERUSALEM) arrival. Slit open right. This is tied as the highest valued TPO postmark in the period 1903-1927 by Proud (British Army Postal Service volume 2).
