1927 (24 Sep) stamp size imperforate proof in purple on blue script wmk paper from the UNDENOMINATED 'POSTAGE' MASTER DIE (type 45), affixed to quadrille piece (94 x 38mm) with M/S endorsement 'Appd for 10/- duty/initials/24.9.27' alongside. A unique and highly unusual item, in superb condition. Prepared just before the introduction of the type 46 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' design, in which the 10s value was subsequently issued.
