1891 (June 1) One cent blue postal envelope addressed to Sweden, uprated with a nicely centered block of eight of the Half cent Small Queen, single 5c green RLS slightly overlaps block at right, tied by light oval "R" handstamp cancels, Montreal JU 1 dispatch at left, oval Registered London 10 JU 91 datestamp in red at right, Swedish datestamp receiver in violet on back. One of only three recorded 5c RLS covers to Sweden; this being the EARLIEST RECORDED DATE. A lovely cover for a serious collection, VF (Unitrade F2, 34, U5)

1891 (June 2) Floral arrangement illustrated envelope mailed registered from Winnipeg to Austria, bearing 5c brownish grey (Ottawa printing) alongside 5c bluish green RLS showing missing frameline at right, both well centered and tied by Winnipeg dispatch CDS, oval "R" registration at left, Registered London 15 JUN transit datestamp in red; on reverse Kranzberg 18 6 arrival CDS postmark. Paying the very scarce 5c UPU letter rate + 5c registration fee to Austria. Certainly the most desirable and attractive of only nine recorded 5c RLS covers to Austria, VF (Unitrade 42, F2iii)
