Cat No:83 var.

1904. Coronation and Centenary of Karageorgevic Dynasty. 5 D deep violet, perf. L 11 1/2. Very fine mint horizontal GUTTER PAIR (58,5 mm distance between the deigns), left stamp IMPERFORATED at the RIGHT. The format of the full size printing sheet was four sheets of twenty-fife stamps, with gutters in both directions. This clearly originates from the State Monopoly Printing Works and represents the GUTTER BETWEEN TWO PRINTING FORMS. A spectacular piece, not mentioned in M. Rasic, however he does record 10p, 15p and 5D values imperforated at one side. Very interesting. (Image)
