1869 Sir James Brooke 3c imperforate plate proof in black on gummed unwatermarked yellow paper with Damaged Frame at Centre-Right, tiny thin spot otherwise superb. Scarce: not mentioned by Batty-Smith & Watterson.
1869 Sir James Brooke 3c brown/yellow SG 1 block of 10 (5x2), some characteristic irregular perfs, a few minor bends, large-part o.g. - scarce thus - with four units being unmounted, Cat £550++ for mounted singles. A very desirable block. [Batty-Smith & Watterson state that most unused examples on the market have no gum, as a result of being washed-apart from a brick of sheets that had been stuck together!]
1869 Sir James Brooke 3c brown/yellow SG 1 two used examples with cancel of 9 parallel lines (thinned) or a very fine strike of the diamond 'S'-in-Bars, Cat £450. [Batty-Smith et al state that the 'S'-in-Bars was introduced only a few months before the Charles Brooke stamps were issued and thus "...is very rarely found on the 1869 issue..."]
1871 Sir Charles Brooke 3c brown/yellow annotated study on ten exhibit pages, mostly unused including blocks of 6 x3 & a block of 15 (5x3), mostly plated with many obvious varieties including the listed 'THREE.CENTS' SG 2a in two pairs (one with oval d/s) & one of the blocks of 4.
