Sailors Covers. 1801 (28 Feb.) entire letter "Paid" from London to George Farington "on Board His Majestys Ship La Topaz at the island of Jamaica", showing indistinct despatch handstamp over-cancelled by London datestamp (2.3) in red; the contents strangely written in contrasting hands, one to "My Dear Dearest children", the other from another party in large script to his brother that he has been to London and "seen the King and Princesses".
