Sweden, EXTRA POST. War against Russia 1808–1809. Defence of Swedish mainland. Requisition for Extra Mail transport of one letter by Swedish Post, ordered by the military, from Norrtälje Post Office to command of the fleet (Swedish Navy) without delay, 12 August (1809). Extra Mail transport was between the regular ones and could only be ordered by high officials. Sweden lost whole Finland in the peace September 1809.
