Four binders housing a nice, somewhat overlapping Russian grouping. Three are Scott Specialty albums covering the beginning to 1965; 1958 to 1969; and 1969 to 1979. Earlies are mostly used with mint appearing more frequently as the years progress. Likewise, never hinged becomes more frequent in later years as well. The albums are in excellent condition for continuation. The fourth binder is a photograph album with “sticky” page. Fortunately, the owner placed virtually everything in mounts so the stamps themselves are well protected. Almost everything in this binder is mint with never hinged space and science topicals abundant. A great start for a new area. (Image)

A multi-volume mint and used 19th century to 1991 Russian collection. The later issues are leaning towards being used which tend to be of less value yet harder to come by. Also includes a bit of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Worthy for expansion. (Image)

Cat No:25. VII. 31
Polar Flight cover from Leningrad (25. VII. 31) to the Ice Breaker Malyguin (27. VII. 31). Registered cover uses the perforated set C30-C33 as a wonderful four color Zeppelin franking. The envelope is remarkable as it is prefranked postal stationery that has its postage obscured by C32. Includes the 1999 Sieger certificate that verifies its validity and tells the rest of the quirks of this amazing showpiece cover. (Image)
