1860 Entire letter from Warsaw to Paris, addressed to the Rothschild Brothers, franked by Russia 1857 10k. imperforated and cancelled by manuscript with cross of pen-strokes, bearing small red "WARZAWA/25/5" cds, "P.D" in red, curved and framed "FRANCO" in red, German boxed "AUS RUSSLAND/FRANCO" h/s in black, "Breslau-Berlin" railway h/s, German-French 'Prusse-Valencienne' border cds and Paris arrival datestamps. The Russian stamp with a fine vertical crease at left with short tears at top and bottom, and minor imperfections as cover folds, but nevertheless an attractive letter to the Rothschilds in Paris.
