1940 Privately Censored Courier Cover to Beyrouth, unfranked cover with handwritten notation of the Chief Censor of Palestine reading "Permission is hereby granted to Miss Ginette Steinberg to convey this letter from Palestine to Lebanon otherwise than by post on the 7th (seventh) day of August 1940, provided that the seals are unbroken when she leaves Palestine"; Very Fine and rare, being just one of three recorded covers with this censorship clearance.
