POLISH RESETTLEMENT CORPS in ITALY ISSUES COLLECTION. assorted sets, singles, multiples, S/S and four philatelic covers in a stock book, also note a few Exile Govt in Britain and some privately overprinted issues, highly complete and with numerous shade, paper and perf/ imperf varieties, set of three S/S NH and with "unofficial "postmarks, covers include Sassone 1-4 to London, Aerea 1 block on FDC addressed to Rome, F-VF; these stamps were issued by the Polish Resettlement Corps which was created by the British Government in May 1946. It was tasked with processing the approximately 300,000 Polish soldiers in the Western sphere of liberated Europe.
