Official Mail. 1857 (9 Sept.) "O.H.M.S." envelope from the Army Pay Office at Kingston to Lieut. Jones, Commanding No. 8 Company, 2nd. West Indian Regiment at Port Royal and marked "Mil Post", turned and addressed to England, unusually paid 6d. in cash and with manuscript explanation "I find I am short of envelopes & it is two miles to Kingston so I have turned an old one", backstamped at London and Leicester.
