NICARAGUA MOUNTAIN ISSUES COLLECTION. A very pleasing and well researched collection of several 100s of the mountain issues of 1862, 1869/71, 1878/80 on homemade pages and incl fancy and scarce cancels such as the blue San Juan Del Sur, as well as Rivas, Masaya, Corinto, Ocotal, Matagalpa, Jintotega, San Juan Del Norte, Chinandega - many of these being small towns - plus the more usual Managua, Leon,  etc., also various papers (thick, soft, porous, etc.),  The overwhelming majority of the collection is used and the quality is far better than normally encountered, generally F-VF, a delight to view for the specialist (see online scans)
