1796 (Oct 5): Receipt for registered letters to go by courier, with manuscript 'Monaco le 5.8.1796'' at top, with attached printed CHARGEMENT strip attached at left and dated in Revolutionary Calendar 'Monaco le 30 Vendemaire l'an 5' in manuscript. An interesting and valuable group.

1924/84: Lot several hundred stamps used/unused or in mint condition, incl. single values, full sets, souvenir sheets, miniature sheets, postage dues, few modern stationery items etc., nicely arranged in one stockbook owner's cat. = € 3'400.

1771/1885: Lot six covers from Monaco incl. 1771/83 two entires to Marseille with handwritten 'De Monaco' and 'Monaco' despatch marks, precursor covers with French definitives 1873 cover with GC '2387' to France and to Switzerland with Cêrès 30 c. brown, 1882 Sage 25 c. bistre to Italy, and Monaco 1885 definitive 1 fr. black on yellow, a rare franking on a third weight rate registered cover to Germany. A fine group, all items signed A. Brun or Roumet, four certs. Maury = € 8'800+.
